Pension Scheme

As a contracted member of Buckler’s Mead staff you will be automatically enrolled into either the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or the Local Government Pension Scheme (Peninsula Pensions).  Further details of both schemes can be found on their websites:

Health Scheme

All employees with a minimum of a 12 month contract are currently enrolled into our ‘Simply Health’ package which provides a range of free health care for staff.

Childcare Vouchers

We participate in the Childcare Voucher Scheme, which provides tax benefits to working parents.

Discount Scheme

All permanent employees can use our discount scheme, which offers a range of discounts at local or national stores and companies.

Corporate Leisure Centre Membership

Employees qualify for a reduction in the cost of membership at Buckler’s Mead Academy’s on-site Leisure Centre.
