Remote access services

Buckler’s Mead provides a remote access service to all staff. Staff can log in to the service using the same user name and password provided for computers at the academy (your network account).

IMPORTANT: If you are using this service for the first time we advise you to do the following:

  1. Read the Acceptible Usage Policy. Anyone using this service automatically agrees to abide by this policy when logging in. Click here to read the policy
  2. Set up your self service password reset details. This will enable you to reset your password yourself if you have forgotten it, or it has expired. Click here to set up your details (use your network account to log in).
  3. When logging into the remote access service, you will be asked to log in as ‘Domain\user name’. The domain is ‘bucklersmead’ so you would log in as ‘bucklersmead\yourusername’.

REQUIREMENTS:

If you are using an Apple device such as an iMac, iPad or iPhone, you will need to download the ‘RD Client’ App from the App Store in order to use this service.

If you are using a PC, you will already have the correct software installed.

FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD?

If you have forgotten your password or it has expired, you can reset it using the self service password reset service here (note you can only use this service if you have already set up your self service password reset details).

If you have not set up your self service password reset details, you will need to contact IT Services in order to get your account reset. Our email address is ithelpdesk@bucklersmeadacademy.com.

Note that resetting your password will also change your Office 365 / email password.
